NYC is not as crazy as the one in San Francisco on a weekday - if you survive the crowd, there is some great dim sum (not talking about Grand St - try Stockton)

Koi Tower, while you enjoy the cute neighborhood you will get one of the best 360views of SF from the top of the tower

great place to have lunch, to just shop around for unusual things or to get a great glimpse of the bay bridge (exit the back)

Aquatic Park, walk out on the pier and enjoy the beautiful view of the city from there (it's free)

Mexican to die for: Taqueria Cancun (3 locations. this is the one closest to downtown)

unique place to walk around and see some hippies. visit the Japanese Tea Garden, it's far from other vistas but if you can go and the weather is not too foggy/ cold it's an amazing place

more fancy or wannabe fancy (not comparable with NY - SF is sooooooo relaxed with clothes...), good dancing. more girls!

fun boutiques, funky thrift stores and some really nice cafes - it's a more hippiesh neighborhood
