Driving Tour - Central Oahu through tunnels to Diamond Head
“1. Before heading North on Route 61, visit the Punchbowl aka National Cemetary of Pacific.
2. Once on the highway, look for signs for the Pali Lookout which small park with breathtaking views.
3. Highway travels through Koolau Mountains through an impressive tunnel.
4. Head South on Route 72 (Kalaniana'ole Highway) which provides impressive views of Pacific. This highway passes by Koko Crater and Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve. Entrance to Bay is heavily regulated due to overcrowding.
5. Head to famous Diamond Head before returning to Honolulu.”
