A multifaceted look at the Upstate’s largest city, A Portrait of Greenville brings together commissioned projects completed during the past twenty-five years. It features new works by nationally known artists such as Andrew Lenaghan and John Moore, as well as those by noted Southern artists Edward Rice, William McCullough, and Tim Barnwell.
Presented in tandem with Andrew Wyeth: The Greenville Collection, the Museum’s prestigious, in-depth collection that features works from every phase of Wyeth’s 70-year career, and Grey Album, which brings together works from the Museum collection to challenge racial, historical, and aesthetic assumptions.
