虹ノ松原 Niji no Matsubara
“As one of the three largest pine groves in Japan - alongside the Miho-no-Matsubara in Shizuoka Prefecture and the Kehi-no-Matsubara in Fukui Prefecture, the Niji-no-Matsubara has been designated a national natural asset. The million or so black pines running 5 km. along the coastline are a popular tourist destination in summer bringing in many campers and swimmers.
