To the Summit Area: Park headquarters and the 10,023 foot (3055m) summit can be reached from Kahului via Route 37 to 377 to 378. Driving time to the summit from Kahului is approximately 1.5 hours
Seven Sacred Pools
Oheo Gulch, aka “Seven Sacred Pools,” succession of natural staircase waterfalls cascading into a series of descending pools. Great photo opp, you can swim in there too.
Crescent island west of Kihei, popular for diving and snorkeling. Lots of boats go out there. Cost about $100 pp. You can see it from the west coast of Maui.
